Think-it is a place of constant growth
One of the basic guiding principles for Think-it says “We are learn-it-alls”, not “know-it-alls”.
That sums up nicely the fact that we believe in a humble, self-reflected growth. Your journey at Think-it will consist of main missions and side quests, allowing you to upgrade your backpack with competencies and experiences that, when used wisely, will take you to the next level. 🦸🏾
How does this look like in practice:
- You enter Think-it collective with a certain range of skills and competencies that are decisive for your entry level.
- Throughout your journey at Think-it, you work with the OKR methodology, choosing your main missions (your essential focus for each quarter, semester, and year) and side quests (the “bonus” projects allowing you to gain more experience).
- You will be constantly supported by your lead and mentor. During those regular recharging and strategic planning moments (1:1s), you will co-choose your main path (Team Lead or Individual Contributor) and adjust the quests according to your current level and aspirations for growth.
- You will be provided access to the “tools magazins” for soft-skills (People Domain) and technical skills (One of our 4 Chapters).
- You will join the collective, cross-domain missions and participate in collective planning.
This, as well, allows you to gain more experience and grow more quickly.
- Every 6 months, you will have a longer-term Performance Evaluation that serves as a self-reflection and feedback-sharing moment that will guide your next assignments. This is the time when we review your current skills and competencies backpack to potentially readjust your level and give you access to more complex missions 👊🏼
The Why behind our Career Evolution Framework
You should know that only 2% of the candidates become Think-iteers. We are very grateful to every candidate who shows their interest in becoming a Think-iteer, but we are only making offers to a few candidates who prove to have a complex mix of high proficiency in both technical and soft skills. Think-iteers truly are exceptional and dedicated top talents that deserve the system that recognizes their achievements and provides a strong Career Path. That’s where the Career Evolution Framework comes in.
